Iconic Vintage 80's 'Set of 5' Corning Cups & Saucers in China Blossom print (Cream, tan, & peach in color) & Featured in a 1983 issue of Good Housekeeping Magazine!
Cherry blossoms symbolize clouds due to their nature of blooming. The transience of the blossoms, the exquisite beauty and volatility, has often been associated with mortality and graceful and readily acceptance of destiny and karma; for this reason, cherry blossoms are richly symbolic.
Each cup measures 3in. tall x 3 1/8in. opening at top. Each saucer is 6 1/8in. round.
This set is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
