Measurements are approx. 4" x 5" x 2". This is a very unique little bag that would be great for a special occasion or as an antique collectible. It has various colored stones and silver scroll design. The interior is lined in what feels like velvet. The chain shoulder strap has a 21" drop, so it could also be worn crossbody. The hard closure works perfectly. This is a substantial piece, not lightweight. I do not know shops what era. I'm not an antique expert, but this came from an estate sale. Condition appears to be good, but please look closely at pictures before buying.
