1950s baby quilt embroidered printed animals minky shops backing 31” x 50”

Adorable 1950s baby quilt featuring six printed animals. Hand embroidery has been added to the pictures to add texture and highlights. Each animal is showcased in a square created by a hand embroidered border of hearts. The diamond shaped shops quilting looks like it could have been hand stitched but I can't be sure. The edge has been machine stitched. A blue minky (or minkee) fabric has been added to the back. It's very soft. The blanket measures 31” x 50”. Good condition.
