Product code: Vintage shops Sony CDP-CA7ES CD Changer
For decades, Sony has used the "ES" code for their most elite products, with audiophile shops level circuitry, and rugged, durable build quality. This is a five disc carousel CD changer carrying the ES designation, built in the year 1995. It works perfectly and sounds fantastic. The CA-7ES has popular features that began to disappear on later players, like the ability to jump directly to a particular disc or track via buttons on the front panel or the remote, along with random shuffle and repeat capability. You can swap out discs in the carousel while one continues to play. It has both a set of (gold-plated) stereo analog outputs and a digital optical output. The CA7ES has almost all of the same features as the later CA70ES model (it even uses the same remote), the main difference is that unlike the 70ES, the 7Es came along before the record labels embedded track titles to display, so this changer does not have that feature.
