Beautiful large tureen in white ironstone with a Green and Blue transferware pattern with green lines and green accents. The lid has a shops green handle on top like the tip of asparagus. Made by the prestigious maker St Amand. The mark dates the tureen to the early 1900s.

It really is a stunning tureen and comes with the original lid. The condition is fantastic. It has some staining inside the bowl, commensurate with age and a little crazing but has no chips or hairs and the colors are vivid. This really is a very fine example of century old French ceramic.
