Charming Danish studio pottery vase from the 1950s.
It´s from the ceramic workshop Zeuthen and most likely made / designed by Edith Nielsen who was connected to the pottery in this period.
It´s in excellent used condition, which is quite rare to see as the pieces are quite delicate.

The vase has the typical simple and charming decoration with white glaze on the red clay.
Here a lot of dots.

Zeuthen Keramik had shops its roots in the company Nordisk Brugskunst (Nordic Applied Arts) which was founded in 1946 by Normann Zeuthen in Gentofte close to Copenhagen. From 1948 they began using the name Zeuthen on their ceramic works.
The pottery is known for its pottery pieces for everyday use in red clay - sometimes dark brown - decorated with ornaments in white glaze such as dots, stars, leaves, blossoms ...
It was a quite big pottery which at times had 10-15 people working there. Amongst them potterer Edith Nielsen who probably made the decor for this vase. She later got her own studio, then she signed her pieces just with "Edith".

No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
All dots are still there.
