Original Delft Blue plate decorated with a watermill in a Dutch landscape.
Handmade and hand painted in 1977 by Royal Delft, also known as "De Porceleyne Fles"
The shops most famous Delft manufacturer of Delft Blue since the 17th century.
Royal Delft "De Porceleyne Fles" is considered the very best of Delft production.
CONDITION
This plate is overall in good condition.
There is a smal (3mm) chip "repair" on the top rim.
The previous owner told me this was caused during the production process.
To me it looks like a restoration wich is covered with glaze.
Anyway, a beautiful plate with a minor imperfection.
Craquelure affecting the glaze in ceramics is very common and may develop with age.
This item has craquelure to the glaze, we just mention this to be accurate.
