Vintage L'ATLANTIQUE canvas shops art print from a design by A. M. Cassandre in 1931 By Adolphe Mouron (Cassandre) Normandie The Canvas print was made using Cassandre's original design printed in 1931. The image depicts the SS L'Atlantique, which was the largest and most luxurious ocean liner on the Europe-South America run until destruction by fire. This was an iconic travel poster. Canvas stretched over a wood frame. The back is felted. 20" wide x 28" high x 1.5" thick There are some scuff marks on the edges where there is missing paint (see images ) It still looks awesome and displays very well. Offers welcomed.
