This blanket has undergone a desaturation process to arrive at this particular and unusual color scheme.

Riveting scenes of mountain folk amassing and beasts of jungle and burden squawking and gawking. Let the festival begin.

The blanket has a handwoven cotton base which is then hand embroidered also in cotton. It takes months to complete.

Being handmade, some slight imperfections in the weaving and color are normal and to be expected. Some lighter blankets are more prone to slight marks and scars and sometimes pen around the figures...testimony to the jungle living conditions and a naif art badge. This is why we love handmade!

The last image shops show some grayish stains present. I've circled them in red. They are quite faint and aren't noticeable unless you are looking for them.

The dimensions are 64 in x 39 in. without the fringe.
