This quilt gives you all the information to hoop mesh stabilizer in your quilting machine, sew placement blocks, place batting inside the placement stitching, QUILT the background of each block, then embroider/applique the interior of each block.
The blocks will be cut to size then sewn together to create a quilt sewn to the background. The batting is not in the seam allowances. Add the binding - and you are done, no need to take it to the quilters.
This quilt finishes 40" x 40" - just the perfect size to display on your wall for the month of January. Do you have a quilt just for winter? Most quilts are reminiscent of the holidays. This quilt is strictly all winter fun.
Your Quilting machine must have an 8" x 12" hoop in order to make this pattern, although many blocks can be sewn in a smaller hoop. Due to the changes in embroidery conversions and different types of machines, please follow the color choices in the written information and not on your embroidery machine.
