Antique Vint Butcher's Meat Tenderizer Mallet Oak Wood Restored Signed IET Co. USA Selling an Antique Primitive Oak I.E.T. Co. Kitchen Butcher's Meat Tenderizer Mallet. Most likely made of oak, this awesome looking mallet measures 12" long. The head is approximately 3.5" in diameter x 5" long and has 110 .25" metal teeth Antique or vintage restored to perfection, these shops mallets were often used in commercial kitchens and rarely found in good condition. The metal was sandblasted and polished so the maker marks are slightly faded, the wood has been sanded and refinished, the handle is original and does not show any structural issues. Cast Iron metal head reads "I. E. T. Co" / Made in / U.S.A / 14 Weight: 2.7 lbs The wood mallet is also marked, unsure as to what it says the brand is enclosed inside a diamond shape a close up has been provided.
