Petit shops point finished embroidery

I am not talented when it comes to cross stitch and needlepoint even though I have posted many family pieces. This is a petit point or cross stitched piece that is so adorable and beautifully framed and matted. It is in perfect condition. The lovely green matting is 2 " on the top and bottom and 1.5 inches on the sides. The actual piece inside the frame is 11.25 inches by 8.5 inches. Fully framed it measures 17 x 13 inches.
The paper on the back was damaged I am sure in moving it around but does not at all affect the piece. Many vintage framed pieces show some tears on the backside. It is a very, very sweet and wonderful piece. As noted on the front, completed in 1987. shops
