I made this for my son's room because I didn't want to hang a store bought goal. I liked the idea of a vintage style backboard and modern rim. This backboard is stained and shops finished to look like a basketball goal you see on old buildings. It is functional. This goal looks great in a "man cave", game room, basement, or sports themed room.
