HUGE Antique Victorian Pin, Elegant Sardonyx Pendant or Brooch, Striated and shops Earthy Stone, Ornate Silver Setting, Vintage Jewelry, Women

The very large sardonyx stone in this old pendant brooch is so beautiful, with various shades of honey and white in shops a striated pattern. The setting is engraved with a floral design. I've seen this type of brooch described as Scottish agate, but there are no hallmarks so I'm not sure of the origin.

The setting may be unmarked sterling or a lower grade silver. The brooch has a small loop for a chain, and a larger jump ring was inserted to accommodate the heavy coiled chain, which is included in the price. The loop hangs down in back when worn as a brooch.

Marks: appears to be unsigned

Condition: Very good vintage condition. There is one 1/4" line in top of stone that may be a crack but I don't feel it when I run my finger along it and I don't think it threatens the stability of the stone. I just wanted to make the buyer aware of it.
