Here is an original circa 1920s "Dance Hall" ticket
from Conneaut Lake Park (PA).
The ticket has the number "49" and was designated for "Men."
This number may signify the event number of the season at CLP.
The Dance Hall at Conneaut Lake Park was originally known as the "Dance
Pavilion"
or simply "Dance Hall" before taking the name "Dreamland Ballroom" several years
later.
This ticket could also be from an earlier time when the park was known as
"Exposition Park"
before being renamed Conneaut Lake Park in 1920.
The "Conneaut Lake Co" is printed on the ticket which was chartered in 1905.
The ticket measures 3 x 1-1/2 and is in good condition.
There is a light vertical crease between the "4" and the "9" and a few other
tiny wrinkles.
I will be listing several other Dance Hall tickets
in varying conditions. Men's and Ladies tickets with different numbers.
I recently took part in a Meadville PA estate auction
and purchased several Conneaut Lake Park tickets that will be listed soon.
