This set is brand new, still in its original packing They were made for Pyrex by corning ware Both are items that are highly collectible ! The lids are in perfect condition, and white as they were the day they were manufactured.  Each jar has gold trim surrounding the etched letters—-not a scratch on them! The packaging is also in fantastic condition – – only a few works on the bottom of the package Sometimes you can still find these jars – – but the lids will have yellowed and the gold and etchings will have scratches There is also a reproduction set out there – – in a completely different box, that people try to pass off as the original vintage These are the original !! And this sat in this condition, is very very difficult to find ! It has never been removed from the box and even has the original price tag on the right shops side The jars are in factory condition ! They have always been displayed on my shelf  i've owned them for probably close to 40 years or more!.
