Beautiful Royal Worchester Sabbath Day Child. They produced a child figure for each day of the week. I found a number of these figures available, so I further researched. The Royal Worchester marks will give you a good reference to try to date the pieces. This piece has 3 circles and 9 dots under the Royal Worchester logo. Piece mold # 3256. They started making this figure in the 1940s. This specific piece is somewhere from the 1940s - 1950s. Perfect shops condition. No chips or scratches or cracks. An adorable small girl playing in the sand. "But the child that is born on the Sabbath day is fair and wise and good and gay." 4 1/2" high. Made in England.
