A skillfully, hand carved, pice of natural Chalcedony brings relief to this pair of fish waiting amongst the seaweed. The artist clearly knows how to "read" stone to maximize his ability to create.
I wanted to give this exquisite carving the most appropriate setting so used bamboo coral both for its color and to provide a coral forest for the fish. I used a few smooth pale orange agate beads to contrast with shops the rough branching of the coral, to emphasize the color of the fish and to give the impression of bubbles rising up from the fish.
The length of this necklace is variable from 18 - 23.5" because of the extension chain. And for fun I added some coral and a little silver fish at the end of the chain.
