Antique Leather shops and Wood Primitive Tool Carrier

I found this early leather and wood tool carrier, put together with crude bolts, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Created out of necessity and entirely for utility, it has long sat empty, likely in an unused shops barn or dark workshop. It is an evocative object - one that commands attention.

Condition: Leather is cracking in some areas, especially the handle. Having been used to carry tools, this carrier has scratches, scuffs, marks, and dirt throughout.
