Shops Saguaro Cactus Oil Painting - 1970 Southwest Original Arizona Desert Landscape - Saguaro National Park - Framed/Signed/Titled

This original realistic cactus oil painting landscape features the amazing shapes of the stately Saguaro cactus. It is painted from a sketch I drew while visiting family in the Phoenix, Arizona area and working on an independent study for a graduate college course in 1970. I picture the "arms" of this cactus reaching gracefully up to the sun to gather more warmth and that's why I titled it "Reach to the Sun".

The painting is signed on the front, titled on the back, stretched over heavy cardboard and is 10" X 14". The wood frame is white and the total size with the frame is 12 1/2" X 16 3/4". It is ready to hang with wire on the back of the frame. I covered the back with black poster board for neat finishing.
