VTG Mary Meyer Musical Elephant With Moving Trunk Gingham 8'' Plush (See Video) In good preowned vintage condition. it is clean. The Musical Elephant with Moving Trunk is an 8" high stuffed Elephant. The plush shops was made by Baxter, Kelly & Faust, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA. in the 1960's. The musical mechanism was made in Switzerland and was a “Waggie", which means that there was a bent shaft extending out of the music box that turned as the music played. The reason the shaft was bent was to give the toy the appearance that the Elephant's trunk was turning as the music box played. There is an extra small piece of fabric around his neck.
