DETAILS:
♥This beach themed card box is great for your nautical or beach themed event! It works great for weddings, bridal and baby showers to hold cards, and then, to be used as a great keepsake later. Each box is solid wood and comes in a variety of stain colors. This box has rope style netting attached to the top of the underside of the lid. This netting drapes down into the box. Attached to the netting is real dried starfish and a wooden sand dollar that is hand engraved with a word of your choice (ex; Cards, Advice, etc) up to 10 characters.
♥The front of the chest is HAND PAINTED with up to 15 characters on the top line in large calligraphy and up to 20 characters below in small capital serif. Wording can be painted in white, black, silver or gold paint.
♥APPROX SIZE:
OUTSIDE:12.75 x 10.25 x 10
INSIDE: 11.75 x 9 3/8" x 5.25" (up to the top lip of the bottom portion of the box- domed lid goes up additional 4.25" in center when closed)
It will hold approx. 100+ cards depending on the size of the cards.
♥This chest is meant to be used OPEN and will not have slot or hole to put cards through the lid. The netting is glued down but can be removed after the event, if desired, for using the chest as a keepsake trunk.
♥Each box is HAND MADE with natural wood and is stained. They are pieced together by hand, not with machinery and glue is used to secure the joints INSIDE the chest. There will be spots INSIDE the chest where the glue will not allow the stain to absorb into the wood to the same degree as other spots. These spots will appear lighter (this is not something we can control/change) so please understand that this will show behind the netting to some degree. Some will have more than others. See last photos for examples.
♥HASP/HARDWARE ON THE FRONT:
-Chest hasps are either decorative or locking. A locking hasp will include a lock and key of choice (see last photos). Decorative hasps are smaller and more round. The holes in these are too small to put locks through!
HOW TO ORDER:
1. Select your stain color and wording paint color and add to your cart
2. In the personalization box or customization box in your cart please leave;
-Wording to be hand painted on the front. UP TO 15 characters for the top line and 20 for the bottom.
-Wording to be hand burned onto sand dollar UP TO 10 characters.

SHIPS UPS. Please allow 3-6 days for delivery, once shipped. If shipping outside of the continental US or to a PO box, you will need to contact us prior to ordering as we can't ship UPS to PO boxes & shipping to Alaska or Hawaii will be an additional cost. Thank you!
DISCLAIMER OF PAINTED WORDING AND STAIN:
Please note that each box will VARY in wood grain patterns and natural wood variations (ex; knots, small natural imperfections, etc). COLORS WILL VARY from photos in shading/darkness due to a variety of factors including how dark the wood on the box is to begin with, how much stain the wood absorbs, etc. Each box is HAND PAINTED and lettering flourishes, height, thickness, spacing, etc will vary from piece to piece.
