Here is an original, hand drawn Variant sketch cover. Featuring the Laura Kinney as Wolverine also known as X -23 on a Wolverine Sketch Cover. This sketch cover I did something a little different with, I used some silver leaf on her claws and the "23" in the logo, and the comic is then sealed in a triple thick clear coat. It's something truly to be seen and is tough to capture in a just a photograph.

About the Comic:

In comic books, a shops variant cover (sometimes variant edition) refers to an issue of a comic book printed with multiple covers, each with unique cover art. The comics I draw are on are referred to as Sketch Covers, often they have a matte finish and are made of a light weight bristol board, often times having only the comic title printed on the top, leaving plenty of room for artists like myself to draw on. This way the individual who owns it has something quite unique and an original piece of art.

Materials used:

I use a vary of materials depending on the comic. As each comic has it's own texture and absorption rate. But primarily I use graphite pencils to lay the drawing out, Ink and Copic markers for inking and coloring. Occasionally I will also used acrylics.

Shipping:

Comics will be sealed in a plastic sealed comic bag. Backed with a firm card stock. The Comics will be shipped flat in a bubbled envelope. They will come with a free little gift also!
