Belinda Saffell is a Congolese American third culture kid, poetess turned abstract artist. She enjoys working with acrylic paint as well as oil pastels and the mixed media collage medium. Her pieces shops represent snapshots of sorts. To this end, her art is a form of storytelling. A way for her to capture various moments and states of being. To bring them to life. Her pieces represent a way for her to express her relationship to the natural world. For her art is a form of escape, a way of traveling to the many universes within and outside of herself. She hopes that with her art, she can take you on that journey.
