This is a gorgeous trinket box/glass container made by the Jeanette Glass Co. circa 1940-1960. This particular silver color is very rare. We have not seen any other boxes with this particular color. The glaze is almost like a liquid silver, and makes this piece such a unique find. The box stands on four feet, and features an embellished raised relief grapevine and ivy motif. This was an estate auction purchase and is in good vintage condition. There is some glaze loss on the rim of the top lid (see second pic), as well as the initials F.K. in marker on the bottom of this piece (see last pic). Fortunately, you cannot see the initials at all when it is displayed. Other minor wear might be present as this shops is a vintage estate pre-loved item.
