Antique "New Testament Game" Rare Set of Religious Illustrated Cards shops Copyrighted 1899 by the Fireside Game Co. Complete set of 52 cards.

This is an amazing set of antique 1899 religious illustrated cards made and sold as a New Testament Game. The card included for directions for play reads: "The cards give a synopsis of the life our Savior in illustrated form, so as to be easily understood and remembered by even young children. They are of great assistance in New Testament Study."

The illustrations are from master painters such as Rubens, Hoffman, Flockhorst, Da Vinci. Each is like a beautiful holy card. There are photos of some of the cards as examples. All 52 are lovely.

These are antique so they do not look new but are in very good condition for their age. The box shows wear from the years of handling. They are truly a treasure from the past.
