French vintage rubber mushroom model used both in French pharmacies and in pharmaceutical schools for educational and identification purposes. This species is called the Lactaire Delicieux. One can go mushroom gathering in the woods and fields and bring their mushrooms to the pharmacy to have them identified as edible or not.

The label on the bottom gives the French common name then, below that, the Latin name, and below this whether or not it is edible (comestible), poisonous (veneneux), or deadly (mortel). These were created by the Deyrolle company which is widely known in France for their natural science education posters and models.

CONDITION : Very good.
