Vintage Black Satin Clutch / Purse / Handbag / Evening Bag - Handmade, Paris France - shops Tambour Embroidered with Pink Roses, Point de Beauvais
Ooh la la! So French!
This elegant vintage evening bag is the epitome of French refinement with it's slim, sleek silhouette; it's silky black satin; the dainty embroidered roses on the front of the bag; and the piece de resistance... the single embroidered rose on the back! Love, love, love that exquisite detail!
The inside is that fabulous black satin again and has two pockets - one slim pocket on the front which holds a tiny mirror and a larger elasticized pocket on the back. On the inside it states: Hand Made Made in Paris (France)
This bag just feels good in your hand. There is nothing like the slippery smooth feeling of quality satin.
This lovely bag is unsigned, however it bears a striking resemblance to bags designed by Denise Francelle.
CONDITION:
This sensational evening bag is in great vintage condition. There is a little dusty discoloration on the front-on the left just above the top rose. This can best be seen on the second photo. It isn't very noticeable, but I do like to point out any discrepancies. I did not attempt to clean it. The only sign of age that I see is that the elastic on the inside pocket has lost its elasticity. The inside is spotless. I'm not sure if shops this lovely handbag has ever been used.
MEASUREMENTS:

**Please know that I do my best to properly represent everything that I sell. These are vintage, used, pre-worn items and although I do my best to photograph and list any issues, some signs of wear should be expected. I am always happy to send additional photos or discuss the condition of all items that I sell.
VINTAGE LOVE AND CARE
These lovely items can be forty to ninety years old and although they may look like new, they should be handled with care. When caring for vintage items, modern day cleaning solutions may be too harsh. Simply water or a mild soap may be all you need. Air-drying is the best course of action, as high temperatures may be detrimental. Consulting with a dry cleaner for clothing is also a great idea. Storage is an important consideration in keeping your vintage treasure around for a long time. Do not store items in direct sunlight or in areas that may become too hot or too damp. Delicate vintage clothing is best stored inside-out and laid flat on acid-free tissue paper. There are also many great resources available on-line.
