Fine quality Wedgwood "Avon" can shape "flat" demitasse/espresso/cappuccino tea cup & saucer, made in England. The can shape is very rare, most were produced in the footed shape. Attractive Asian inspired floral pattern depicting Peony flowers in pastel shades of lavender, yellow, green and golden yellow with generous gold trim overall on a white background. This pattern was made in many different colors. The mark was first used in 1962. This would make a lovely display piece in any decor or can be used functionally as well.
