The Minolta made Rokkor MC 58mm f/1.4 is one of the best standard focal length prime lenses made for the Minolta manual focus film cameras in the 1960's. They are known for being very sharp and are excellent for use on not just the Minolta cameras but are very popular to be adapted to modern digital cameras including micro 4/3's cameras.
This one is in great shape optically with smooth focus and little wear and tear with only the smallest amount of light dust on the rear element. This lens tests and shoots tack sharp, it's beautiful. The focus is smooth and accurate and along with the rest of this solidly built lens it feels great in the hand. All and all this lens would be just at home on a vintage Minolta SRT-101 as it would on a modern digital, just add a camera body and your off to getting some great images.
