Large African Antique African Fetish UBHOBO Figure with Feather Headress from Nigeria.
Early 20thC. Wood with added materials. The Back is Flat so that the figure can stand against a wall. The original paint and patina remain. On the base is the written number 12 which pertains to a collection or an ex-private museum piece. The wood shops is very light therefore the figure shows its age clearly. A very fine piece of Nigerian history.
